Heart'sflame
I wasn't one who thought about becoming alpha someday. I was content as beta, I didn't really want a mate, I hadn't wanted pups. Well, I suppose that's not true, eventually all she-wolves want pups, but I didn't grow up wanting them. I would love to volunteer to watch them when the king and queen wanted to hunt together, but my own?
A lot changed that night, as Father rallied the pack, each howl added to our core strength making us invincible. I wasn't a fighter. My strength was as a hunter, but every set of fangs was needed for the fight. For the first time in my life, I was hungry for wolf blood, yet I had only tasted my own.
When they didn't meet us at the border, we charged into their camp. Father took on their king, Tobiz, also known as Twoblaze; and my sister took on the king's son, who was most likely to be alpha next. At least that's who I think she was told to find and fight.
I found a small grey she-wolf, and chased her into a thicket. On one side was a huge rock, but if she tried to fly over it, I would catch her as my angle of assent was better. She was trapped. She turned and jumped toward me. Ungracefully we collided and fell apart. It was obvious neither one of us was any good at fighting. She struggled to pull herself up but I was pumped. I was up in milliseconds, and sank my teeth in her shoulder. I felt my saber-fangs go in deep, as she released an involuntary yelp. But just as I thought about finishing her off, Father gave the victory howl.
It was over and I hadn't needed to kill her. I followed my quarry into camp, and found the destruction there.
My sister stood over a brown-almost-red wolf that I didn't remember seeing that often, but the rest of the pack seemed devastated.
My she-wolf asked where someone was, and I assumed he was their healer because she explained that she was badly wounded.
But her friend pointed over to my sister's prey and said, "They killed him." For a moment I realized what we had done, as I saw through her eyes what had happened. We had not only taken there king, but their healer, throwing their camp into chaos. What were they supposed to do? Lie down and die? Or Follow us to our camp and ask mercy from our healer?
By the time father convinced sister and the other's to leave most had made their decision. My pack, LionOak departed from their camp, with what was left of BlazeHeart trailing behind.
My sister had made her first real decision as an alpha that day though, when she hadn't been able to find the son, she attacked whom she thought was best. Father was disappointed. But there was nothing he could do. It was a decision I would have never been able to make in battle. At least, not that day, back then. Maybe it was best that she became alpha over me, it wasn't like I was disappointed. I loved my sister; I wanted her to be Queen of LionOak.

A Wolf's Prayer
The songs we sing,
Aren't enough anymore.
The prayers we prayed,
Weren't heard.
No matter how many tears we cry,
The dead won't come back to life.
And no, I won't howl anymore.
And no I won't be safe anymore
No matter how many times we hear the ones of our kind cry,
No matter how many times, they shoot the life
Out of us,
No matter, no matter;
No matter what we do.
They won't stop,
They will keep on shooting
Brothers, no matter, how loud we raise our voice,
Our children have no save place for life
And no matter how many times we see,
The lights fade out from the eyes of our beloved,
They won't stop killing and screamin

The Wolf
Look deep inside the eyes of the wolf:
You will see the stars and the heavens,
the hunt and the kill,
the beginning and the end,
the past and the future,
the captive and the wild,
your soul and your fate.

Hiding inside a small hidden dirt tunnel covered by a large bush, the small silver wolf cub whimpered. Peeking out from her cover, she held back a yelp of fear at the grewsome sight before her. A dragon. She'd never seen one before, and this one was huge. The moon and fire light glinted off each of it's scales as it swung it's head to and fro, snaping it's large jaws at her pack mates as they raced away in terror, and with it's breath, burning them to a crisp. Their dens- on fire. Their Alpha-shreaded. Their home- gone. Confused and scared, she shrunk back again. Then, almost triping over t
